Character Concept for Star Wars Outlaws - Early explorations for ND-5

I had the opportunity to work on ND5 for a significant period of time, creating over 60 variations of the droid.

Before it was decided that we would use a BX Commando Droid as the base, I created dozens of original designs exploring very different personalities and possible origins for the character.

This is one version where he was designed as a more contemplative droid, a softer approach guided by a philosophical theme. This direction came from the art team, who wanted to explore the idea of a “philosopher” droid.
